Sarah Sanford Her vast outdoor experience combined with her creativity gives her an edge in identifying remarkable properties, creating and developing revenue opportunities for properties that feature the sporting lifestyle.

Sarah and her 3 brothers, grew up on an idyllic waterfront plantation in South Carolina’s fabled tidal low country so she is well versed regarding the ins and outs of land ownership managing over 3000+ acres of timber and hardwoods along the ecologically critical banks of salt water estuaries. At a young age, Sarah’s sense of adventure took her away from her comfort zone under the pines to places around the world stretching across 4 continents, and ultimately leading her to live in Africa and Australia.

She came home to lead an active life in the television and broadcasting line of work. After graduating with a masters degree in International Management, Sarah joined the launch team for the Outdoor Life Network in 1995 and went on to become host and writer of several series for the network. In 1999, she was hired away by ESPN2 to be the first female correspondent for their outdoor block. Sarah started Brown Dog Pictures in 2001 where she produced, directed, and wrote shows in Alaska, New Zealand and domestically for a variety of networks: Discovery, PBS, ESPN2, and OLN. Acknowledging the pull of the Low Country gravity, she ultimately gave in and came home to marry and raise her children in her native South Carolina.

When the time was right, she went to work with Montage Hotels in designing a dynamic shooting program for their Palmetto Bluff location. But at the same time, the land and lifestyle kept calling her towards becoming a land broker. She began her real estate career with 2 prominent land brokerages honing her skills and ultimately joining her long time friend in the start up of a fresh new brokerage based in SC, GA & NC, Southeastern Fine Properties.
